The Lama Tzong Khapa Institute will celebrate this important anniversary with two special days open to all with the precious collaboration of the Tibetan Community in Italy.

On 6 July 2025,  His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama will turn 90 , a special occasion to pay tribute to a life dedicated to peace, compassion and freedom. We share the news that the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA)   has officially decided to organize a year-long celebration from July 2025 to July 2026, declaring it the Year of Compassion. As part of the celebrations, the Central Tibetan Administration will also hold a special long-life prayer offering for His Holiness in Dharamsala on the eve of his next birthday, to ensure longevity and the fulfillment of His Holiness's deepest and noblest wishes.
