The event “Italy and the Dalai Lama: Half a Century of Friendship” will be held on the occasion of the 90th Birthday of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.The president of the intergroup Senator Andrea De Priamo, the vice-president Honorable Ilenia Malavasi, Senator Giulio Terzi di Sant’Agata former Minister of Foreign Affairs will speak. In addition, the representative of the Dalai Lama Ginevra Mrs. Kungo Thinley Chukki will be present and will speak. The book Dalai Lama il sorriso e la saggezza will be presented in the new edition edited by Piero Verni, the film “Dalai Lama in Italia 1973 2016” edited by Claudio Cardelli will be screened, and the exhibition the Dalai Lama in correspondence, curated by Fausto Sparacino. Senators and deputies of the Italian Parliament and invited guests will be present.
